Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
to support children and teens (ages 12–21) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential program.

As a Youth DSP, you’ll be a mentor, coach, and role model who leads person-centered activities that helps kids:
Build confidence and independence
Participate in school, home, and community routines

Eligible Applicants must have a Valid Drivers License AND 6 months of professional work/volunteer experience supporting vulnerable populations (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)
Wages and Benefits
Wage: $18.00
Full Range Scale $18.00- $20.05 per hour
(the rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location)

What You’ll Do:
Teach and role-model life skills to promote independence
Provide supervision, coaching, and encouragement
Assist with routines such as meal prep, personal care, and medication administration
Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
Help with transportation
Create a safe, positive, and supportive environment
Qualifications
Valid driver's license required
6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations required (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)
6 months of volunteer experience may be used in lieu of professional work experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older per Washington state licensing requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
