D.A. Davidson & Co. is accepting applicants for an Associate position in the Debt Advisory Investment Banking Group. The Associate will play a vital role working with senior bankers on strategic assignments. Associates deep dive into their industry of focus, receive mentorship and sales and public speaking training, and are encouraged to assist in recruiting, college outreach, cultural initiatives and ongoing analyst training. The Associate will manage projects and assist clients with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other advisory services. The Associate is expected to communicate with the Managing Director, provide a resource for senior bankers, coach junior bankers and strengthen relationships with our clients. Qualifications

3 – 6 years professional experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial banking or related fields. Bachelor’s degree; MBA not required. Highly motivated, confident, professional and coachable. Well‑versed in leveraged finance private market products (ABL, first lien, second lien, unitranche, mezzanine) and features such as collateral, covenants, call provisions, amortization, cash‑flow sweeps, equity cures. Adept at reviewing credit and security agreements, analyzing collateral and covenant packages, and assessing refinancing and other capital‑raising opportunities. Capable of conducting credit assessments, customizing due diligence requests, and working closely with clients on diligence fulfillment. Experienced in preparing leveraged finance models and debt financing information memoranda. Exposure to equity‑linked securities (e.g., debt with warrants, convertible debt) a plus. Sales‑oriented with keen interest in interacting with a broad universe of institutional lenders/investors. Excited to join a rapidly expanding NYC‑based Debt Advisory platform that originates, structures and places debt financings for middle‑market private and public companies across multiple industries (Technology, Consumer and Industrials). Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook or Tableau a plus. Advanced knowledge of business software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance and accounting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business writing. Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities. Strong work ethic and team‑oriented approach. Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion. High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives. Ability to train and provide mentorship to analysts and interns. Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends as needed. Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses preferred but not required. New hires without these licenses will require successful completion upon hiring. In this role you will:

Lead the day‑to‑day execution of transactions, including preparing and reviewing financial models, presentations, managing marketing and due diligence processes, negotiating documentation and providing support for the Managing Director. Actively participate in live deals, contribute in client meetings and pitches. Manage, train and develop Associates and Analysts at the firm. Ensure high‑quality collaboration and production of workflow from Associates and Analysts. Take the lead for developing important technical analysis and presentations. Create marketing materials. Communicate and interact with clients in executing transactions. Travel required for client meetings, conferences, etc. Participate in recruiting efforts. Compensation : $160,000 – $190,000 per year. First‑year associates start at $160,000 and range up to $190,000 for senior associates with 3‑4 years in the role. Bonuses are up to 100 % of base salary. At D.A.
