Accounting Manager Fuse3 Solutions is partnered with an established organization that is searching for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This person will oversee 4-5 direct reports and have an amazing leader that you report to. Don't miss out! Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, setting clear expectations and fostering professional growth. Oversee the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation, including approval of complex or non-routine items. Ensure all financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to support business needs and strengthen collaboration. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and more efficient workflows. Assist in developing and maintaining strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Serve as the main contact for internal and external auditors and coordinate audit requests. Provide guidance on complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leases, and fixed assets. Support management reporting, financial analysis, and variance explanations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising an accounting team. Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously with sound business judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems; experience with Google Sheets/Docs is a plus. Experience in a multi-entity or global environment preferred; rental car industry experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to champion change and drive process improvements. Pay range for the Accounting Manager is based on experience.
