Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role include:
Managing a portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax computations
Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
Acting as the key client contact, providing advice and support
Mentoring and supporting junior team members
Reviewing work for accuracy, compliance, and presentation
Identifying opportunities to enhance client service or introduce additional services
Requirements of the Senior Accountant role include:
UK accountancy practice experience is essential
ACA or ACCA qualified, or strong experience qualified by practice experience
Confident managing client relationships and handling queries
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
Positive, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
