K’STAR Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Specialist to provide support, crisis intervention, and short‑term services to youth and families in Kerr County and surrounding areas. This is a meaningful, client‑focused role for someone passionate about strengthening families and helping youth overcome challenges. The Family Specialist delivers specified social services to at‑risk youth and their families through outreach, crisis intervention, case management, and skill‑building. This role serves as a key connection between families, community agencies, and K’STAR’s FAYS program. This is a full‑time position.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Social Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field).
One year of experience working with youth and families (preferred).
Master’s degree/licensure (LPC‑A, LMSW, LMFT‑A) is a plus.
Valid Texas driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and required insurance.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
