Job Summary Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! This position is remote.
Duties
Help influence and implement an end-to-end vision for how production data can be presented within an analysis platform
Investigate short term problems, and long term data needs with thorough investigation, clear presentation of findings, demonstrating strong skills in python and SQL
Partner with supply chain to define, document, implement and maintain business processes and data workflows
Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from Engineers, PCIT Developers and End Users needs
Recommend visualization platforms for reports based on requirements, platform capabilities and best fit
Help our engineers and PCIT developers create data reports for business, gathering requirements and investigating needs
Work with the manager, regional automation or process engineers depending on the site
Desired Skills/Experience
Experience in managing and communicating complex projects and collaborating with cross functional teams to accomplish project goals within expected timelines
Knowledge on data governance concepts and implementation
Experience in data analytics, change management and data modeling
Proficient in SQL, MSSQL, Python
ETL experience with different ranges of technology
Denodo/Data virtualization experience preferred
Knowledgeable on deployment process flow concepts
Experience with tableau server/desktop/prep setup and dashboard building
Strong initiative, results orientation, and able to work independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally
Good communication skills, written and verbal, is required
