Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! This position is remote.

Responsibilities

• Help influence and implement an end-to-end vision for how production data can be presented within an analysis platform
• Investigate short term problems, and long term data needs with thorough investigation, clear presentation of findings, demonstrating strong skills in python and SQL
• Partner with supply chain to define, document, implement and maintain business processes and data workflows
• Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from Engineers, PCIT Developers and End Users needs
• Recommend visualization platforms for reports based on requirements, platform capabilities and best fit
• Help our engineers and PCIT developers create data reports for business, gathering requirements and investigating needs
• Work with the manager, regional automation or process engineers depending on the site

Desired Skills / Experience

• Experience in managing and communicating complex projects and collaborating with cross functional teams to accomplish project goals within expected timelines
• Knowledge on data governance concepts and implementation
• Experience in data analytics, change management and data modeling
• Proficient in SQL, MSSQL, Python
• ETL experience with different ranges of technology
• Denodo/Data virtualization experience preferred
• Knowledgeable on deployment process flow concepts
• Experience with tableau server/desktop/prep setup and dashboard building
• Strong initiative, results orientation, and able to work independently with minimal direction
• Demonstrated ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, is required
