Overview

Prismecs is seeking an experienced

Plant Manager / Maintenance Manager

to oversee the full operational performance of a power plant facility. This leader is responsible for safe and efficient operations, meeting contractual obligations, managing plant personnel, ensuring HSE compliance, maintaining assets, and building strong customer relationships. The Plant Manager reports directly to the Operations Director/Operations VP.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Management

Recruit, develop, and retain highly skilled plant personnel.

Drive team growth, performance management, and succession planning.

Ensure continuous training to maintain competency and technical capability.

Foster strong relationships with multicultural teams and local communities.

Health, Safety, Environment & Security (HSE)

Serve as the primary HSE leader for the plant.

Implement company and customer HSE policies, ensuring strict compliance.

Promote a proactive safety culture for employees and visitors.

Ensure adherence to SOPs, code of conduct, environmental regulations, and security protocols.

Operations & Maintenance

Lead daily operations to meet contractual requirements and optimize plant performance.

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.

Review and approve operations/maintenance plans and lab-related performance.

Identify, resolve, and report operational deviations or equipment issues.

Ensure plant reliability, performance optimization, and strict SOP compliance.

Deliver accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly plant performance reports.

Customer Relations

Act as the Prismecs Country Ambassador and primary point of contact for customers.

Manage customer expectations, contractual commitments, and communication.

Provide all required customer reports and maintain strong satisfaction levels.

Financial Management

Manage plant budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Provide accurate data for invoicing and support AR processes.

Ensure operations align with financial plans and cost controls.

Supply Chain & Asset Management

Plan and maintain adequate inventory for uninterrupted operations.

Manage minimum stocking levels, critical spares, and replenishment processes.

Oversee logistics, customs coordination, and inventory tracking.

Ensure all assets and spares are safeguarded and documented for audits.

Requirements Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Business degrees considered).

Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing power plants.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

English fluency (written, spoken, reading).

Ability and willingness to live/travel within the project country or region.

Advanced degree in Engineering or Business; professional engineering licenses.

Experience with large‑scale power generation plant operations.

Multilingual capability.
