What You’ll Be Doing
Lead daily distribution and warehouse operations , including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, shipping, and retail/e‑commerce fulfillment to ensure speed, accuracy, and service level alignment.
Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures , overseeing cycle counts, variance resolution, stock transfers, and shrink reduction to maintain accurate perpetual inventory.
Optimize warehouse flow, slotting, replenishment, and space utilization , ensuring efficient product movement, stock availability, and adherence to retail packaging, labeling, and ticketing standards.
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics
(accuracy, throughput, inventory integrity, productivity, order compliance) and report performance trends to corporate leadership.
Lead and develop warehouse and inventory teams , providing coaching, training, and performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Drive process improvement and operational excellence , identifying gaps, reducing waste, and enhancing fulfillment speed.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA standards, labor regulations, and safety protocols , maintaining a clean, organized, and audit‑ready environment.
Serve as the primary operational liaison
with corporate, retail operations, supply chain, customer service, and finance to align inventory and fulfillment strategies.
Coordinate seasonal events, promotions, and stock planning , partnering with procurement and planning teams to support peak execution and retail partner expectations.
Prepare and present operational updates and inventory reports
to senior leadership, providing insight, trend analysis, and recommendations for performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience managing retail distribution or e‑commerce fulfillment.
Metrics‑driven mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and act on operational data.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict professionally, influence outcomes, and maintain positive working relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in a distribution or fulfillment environment with a minimum of 3 years of Inventory Control experience (preferred).
Retail or e‑commerce distribution experience (preferred).
Certified in Production and Inventory Management, CPIM (preferred).
Bilingual, English/Spanish (preferred).
