Substance Use Disorder Professional (Monroe location) Job Summary Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional for our Monroe location. This position is an integral part of the clinical care team in our inpatient program.

Position Summary - Schedule Sun‑Thu / Tue‑Sat The Substance Use Disorder Professional completes Substance Use evaluations (American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM assessment), conducts recovery-oriented group therapy, supervises SUDPTs, and provides training to case managers on the proper administration of an ASAM evaluation. The role utilizes evidence‑based practice to assist patients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health with a focus on chemical dependency issues.

Responsibilities

Complete ASAM Substance Use evaluations.

Conduct recovery-oriented group therapy sessions.

Supervise Substance Use Disorder Professionals (SUDPTs).

Provide training to case managers on ASAM evaluation administration.

Apply evidence-based practices to support patients’ mental and emotional recovery.

Education Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related field.

Qualifications

Current Washington State independent license in a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).

Meets criteria to be an Approved Supervisor per WAC 246‑811‑049 (Preferred).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience as a SUDP and completing ASAM assessments.

Minimum of 1 year experience in an inpatient or residential setting.
