Data Management Specialist – University of Kentucky The University of Kentucky’s Markey Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to provide data management support for Investigator Initiated Trials. The role includes using OnCore, the Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Management System and Electronic Data Capture system, to build protocol calendar specifications and develop electronic case report forms (eCRFs). The specialist will collaborate with protocol staff—including Principal Investigators, Clinical Research Associates, Biostatisticians, Data Monitors, and Clinical Data Managers—regarding data collection throughout the study life cycle.

Responsibilities

Use OnCore (CTMS/EDC) to build protocol calendar specifications and develop eCRFs.

Collaborate with protocol staff (Principal Investigators, Clinical Research Associates, Biostatisticians, Data Monitors, Clinical Data Managers, etc.) regarding data collection throughout the study life cycle.

Qualifications

Knowledge of clinical trials design and processes.

Knowledge of oncology therapeutic area.

Experience with EDC systems, data management processes, and forms design and development.

Proficient computer literacy.

Medical coding knowledge (preferred).

Additional Requirements Preferred: BS or equivalent plus 5 or more years of related experience.
