Team Overview The DBA team supports and enhances critical database systems that underpin our core operations. You will work closely with developers and infrastructure engineers to design, configure, and maintain high‑availability database solutions.

What You Will Do
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle and PostgreSQL database software.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries, indexes, and overall efficiency.
Execute routine maintenance, backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
Manage security, including user access, roles, and permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and data integrity issues.
Implement replication, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with development teams on schema design and query optimization.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Participate in on‑call rotation for critical support.
Stay current with the latest database technologies and best practices.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years DBA experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
Experience with PostgreSQL replication, partitioning, and tuning.
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
Proficient with backup/recovery tools (RMAN, pg_dump/pg_restore).
Knowledge of cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
