Kisinger Campo & Associates is seeking to hire a qualified Senior Inspector to work on roadway/bridge construction projects. Responsibilities
Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Work involves conventional types of plans, investigations, survey, structures or roadways. Responsible for work which usually includes one or more of the following: inspection and project development, adherence to plans and specifications, test of materials, traffic control preparation, cost estimates, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in the specific area of assignments. May supervise or coordinate the work of inspectors and others who assist in specific assignments. Observe both average and complex construction work. The employee is expected to perform other tasks, duties and training as deemed appropriate by the supervisor. Job Requirements
Position requires operation of motor vehicle. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required. Position requires ability to physically lift approximately 50 pounds. Presence at the designated office or job site is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position. FDOT Requirements
High School or Equivalent Four (4) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) years of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection or a Civil Engineering degree and one (1) year of road & bridge CEI experience with the ability to earn additional required qualifications within one year. (Note: Senior Engineer Intern classification requires one (1) year experience as an Engineer Intern.) Certification Requirements
