Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to join our team in Kent, WA, focusing primarily on Mac-based compute infrastructure with a secondary role in network operations support. This position entails hands‑on management of our mac devices, including deployment, maintenance, performance optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring operational uptime SLAs. The role requires a solid blend of skills in Mac hardware operations, networking fundamentals, and active participation in network infrastructure tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, rack, cable, and maintain various Apple hardware in the data center.
Manage Apple device diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and configurations.
Monitor system health and support operational uptime SLAs.
Keep accurate asset records, labeling, inventory, and documentation.
Assist with network infrastructure setup and maintenance, including switch installation and structured cabling.
Must‑Have Skills
3+ years of experience in data center operations or hardware support roles.
Hands‑on experience with Mac hardware (Mac Studio/Mini/Pro) in production or lab environments.
Strong understanding of racking, stacking, cabling, and general data center best practices.
Working knowledge of network switches, Ethernet standards, and basic L2 protocols.
Experience with ticketing systems, documentation, asset tracking tools.
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs) and work in data center environments.
