Cleaning Supervisor – Richmond, VA
Hours:
Mon‑Fri 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (40 hrs/week)
Pay:
$20/hr
Job Duties
Provide a clean, secure, and safe environment for occupants.
Perform cleaning tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.
Direct staff to accomplish daily, weekly, and project‑specified cleaning tasks.
Train, supervise, develop, and motivate janitorial staff.
Take corrective action when appropriate.
Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to requests and concerns.
Complete cleaning tasks so the building is clean at the end of each day.
Job Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum age 16 years.
Effective communication with client contacts, building occupants, and staff.
Experience supervising staff, training, and diagnosing issues to improve cleanliness.
Demonstrated work ethic and responsibility.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as a team member.
Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.
Physically able to stand the entire shift and perform tasks that include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
