Print Production Assistant (Quality Control/Shipping)
Base pay range
$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Job Description:
Achieve production goals in areas of on‑time delivery, superior quality, cost efficiency and embrace new product development initiatives within the organization,
Manage routing proofs and press checks,
Create and maintain print and digital project timelines.
Ensure the accuracy and verify the quality of printed materials and digital files during the proofing process and final run.
Review proofs and final product for errors and make necessary corrections with prepress and CS team
Prepare samples for approval.
Package proofs and completed jobs for delivery via messenger, FedEx and/or UPS.
Assist with other shop duties as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the Printing Industry with a preference for Digital Print.
Understanding of printing methods, finishing tasks
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and stand for an 8 hour shift.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with strict deadlines,
Experience managing timelines
Problem solving and organizational skills a must,
Be knowledgeable with computers and computer software
Have strong project management skills,
Be accurate and detail oriented,
Be able to maintain flexibility in regards to work hours, and be able to work additional hours when required,
Have good judgment in color, design and print quality,
Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives and ability to solve problems creatively,
Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives.
