Supply Chain Coordinator

Responsibilities The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and implementing activities that support the launch of new products, change management, and quality systems. The role ensures program and launch readiness by bridging Logistics, Program Management, and OEM requirements to deliver flawless launches that meet customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies.
Advocate for and promote a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and other safety and environmental hazards.
Work with various functions to support: RFQs, new program launch (PEP process & Projectworx), change management (BiChange), quality systems (BDMS, Saldo, Training Matrix), customer coordination (customer portals), and material alignment for special builds.
Track, monitor, and lead Logistics New Product Launch / Change Management weekly meetings.
Drive accountability across cross‑functional teams and suppliers to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Coordinate with Program Management to support effective launches and meet all timelines required for the business and customers.
Coordinate within Logistics and Materials functions to ensure all work is known and understood.
Represent Supply Chain in all Customer Focused Teams, providing updates and managing follow‑up action items.
Regularly update the team on all program activities and escalate gaps and issues appropriately.
Monitor and communicate overdue BDMS documents, Training Matrix status, and PEP status on the KPI plant PHAM tracker for red Logistics items.
Monitor program accounts and track spend for the Logistics department, including: transferring personnel costs, tracking program development hours, and monitoring SRM shopping carts and purchase orders in SAP.
Support receiving invoices and purchase orders for non‑stock material.
Collaborate closely with Packaging and Material flow engineers on new product launches, changes tasks, and production layout reviews.
Work with customers and suppliers during ramp‑up phase of new processes.
Track and monitor open findings for process improvements and lead the team to completion.
Ensure compliance with IATF and customer‑specific requirements during program launch phases.
Support and prepare for customer audits, scorecard reviews, and launch readiness assessments.
Collect and apply lessons learned from prior launches to improve standard work and prevent repeat issues.
Track program performance against established KPIs (on‑time delivery, cost adherence, data accuracy) and report gaps to leadership.
Influence cross‑functional teams and suppliers to complete deliverables on time, escalating risks and driving corrective actions when necessary.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Independent and organized work style with the ability to manage time, prioritize work, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
Strong analytical capabilities and initiative to take action as appropriate.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels within and outside the organization.

Experience supporting new product launches, engineering changes, and cross‑functional projects.
Strong project management discipline (timeline tracking, risk escalation, issue resolution).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with well‑developed organizational and communication skills.
Experience working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and understanding of overall supply chain.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v‑lookups, data analysis) and comfort with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Ability to influence without authority and drive accountability across suppliers and internal teams.
Comfortable representing Supply Chain in customer‑facing discussions, audits, and meetings.
Strong presentation skills, translating technical or operational details into clear updates for leadership and customers.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
APICS Certification a plus.
General understanding of MMOG requirements would be beneficial.
