Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

Key Responsibilities

Move and install large enterprise equipment

Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment

Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation

Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities

Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment

Travel within and outside of the regional work area; reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds

Work in an environment that operates 24/7 and provide after‑hours support as needed

Operate safely in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments

Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day

Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation

Day in the Life Current schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shift; occasional weekend work required. Future schedule change: Transition to 10‑hour shifts either Sunday‑Wednesday or Wednesday‑Saturday.

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of computer networking experience

High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay may vary depending on market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation such as equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
