Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers and all equipment that ensures customer access to cloud innovation. We face supply chain complexity and need talented people to help.

Key Responsibilities

Move and implement large enterprise equipment.

Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.

Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.

Follow established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities.

Safely use material handling tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift up to 40 lbs; participate in group lifts for 41+ lbs.

Work in a 24/7 environment and participate in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.

Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.

Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.

Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

Qualifications Basic

2+ years computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

1+ years computer networking experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
