The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
Ensure strict adherence to product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead investigations into non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and finished products.
Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and deliver quality training programs for production and quality personnel.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and developing a quality team.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
Experience with specific QMS software platforms (e.g., MasterControl, SAP QM).
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
