Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
Ensure product quality meets internal, customer, and regulatory specifications.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
Develop, maintain, and enforce quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product inspection activities.
Monitor key quality metrics and report on quality performance to management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D, PPAP).
Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100)
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
Familiarity with enterprise-level QMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP QM, EtQ Reliance)
