Shift Leader
– Jersey Mike's Subs (Denver, CO)
Join Jersey Mike's, a family‑owned franchise chain committed to community and quality. As a Shift Leader, you will anchor daily operations, leading a team to deliver outstanding customer service and high‑quality subs.
Responsibilities
Coach and develop staff to deliver top‑level customer service
Produce high‑quality food and maintain the Jersey Mike's experience
Handle cash and process transactions accurately
Follow the Learning Management System training program
Develop crew members for career growth
Enforce policies, procedures, and food‑safety standards
Participate in local and national marketing initiatives
Drive sales and maintain store cleanliness and sanitation
Be certified in all four restaurant positions
Communicate effectively with the GM/AGM/DM regarding issues or concerns
Lead by example with quality food, courteous service, and a clean, pressed uniform
Shift Expectations
Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance
Work 38‑40 hours per week
Arrive punctually and maintain reliable transportation
Fully understand and uphold accountability and integrity
Serve as key holder and complete all opening/closing duties
Support baking, slicing, and all prep tasks as needed
Lead a crew of 2‑5 people in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of QSR experience preferred
Minimum age 18 to operate slicer
Serve Safe Certified (Food Handler)
Reliable transportation
Endeavor to meet legal EEO statements as required.
