Vector Synergy is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
Location Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

Responsibilities
Monitor performance of assigned DB systems and implement measures ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
Define DB backup strategies and maintain a valid recovery plan.
Define and implement upgrade strategy to keep the DB environment current.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of at least two DBMS technologies (Oracle, MySQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Good understanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions (InnoDB Cluster, Replicaset, ClusterSet, Replication).
Good understanding of ORDS, Apache HTTP and Tomcat Administration.
