Senior Accountant – Indianapolis, Ind.
Growing company with great culture. The client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Indianapolis. The role focuses on general ledger closing, financial statement development, variance analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Base pay range:
$70,000 – $100,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes.
Assist in the development of financial statements and reports.
Review and explain variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
Work closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support the achievement of business goals.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
2–5 years of minimum work experience; public accounting experience preferred.
