We are seeking a seasoned Multi-Platform System Administrator with 10+ years IT experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting a diverse IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, desktops and laptops (Windows/macOS), virtualization platforms, and operational technology (OT) systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise across platforms, a solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, outstanding troubleshooting skills, and a user-first approach to supporting both IT and OT operations.
Qualifications
Expert-level experience with Windows Server (2016 and newer), Linux (CLI), and VMware vSphere.
Proficient with desktop environments (Windows/macOS), Active Directory, GPO, and backup technologies.
Experience in hardware installation and maintenance (servers and workstations).
Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor technologies.
Familiarity with SQL Server, IIS/Apache, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
Experience with Cisco networking, firewalls, VPNs, and Azure fundamentals.
Industry certifications are a plus: MCSE, Server+, Network+, Security+.
