We are seeking a US Sales & Event Coordinator who will play a key role in driving marketing initiatives, supporting sales activities, and strengthening our partner collaborations through various events. Role
This is a hands‑on, operational role for someone who thrives at the intersection of events and sales logistics. As the US Sales & Events Coordinator, you will plan and execute partner co‑marketing activities, coordinate Umbraco’s presence at external events, drive local Umbraco‑led initiatives, and provide administrative support to the US sales team. You will report to the VP of Sales and work closely with the whole US sales team while remaining aligned with Umbraco’s global Events team. Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute co‑marketing events and activities with partners, ensuring strong joint execution and clear ROI. Plan, coordinate, and execute Umbraco’s presence at industry events (e.g., conferences, trade shows, partner summits). Coordinate and drive local Umbraco events (e.g., meetups, customer gatherings, community activations) to strengthen engagement and awareness in the US market. Identify and evaluate new opportunities for Umbraco to build awareness and engagement in the US and globally—including events, partnerships, sponsorships, and other collaborative marketing initiatives. Collaborate with partners to identify joint sales and marketing opportunities that support business growth. Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, booth management, lead capture, and post‑event follow‑up. Administration & Support
Provide administrative support to the US sales team, including CRM updates, coordination of partner activities, and tracking of leads and opportunities. Assist with the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and reporting. Support internal communication and alignment with the sales events team. Coordinate travel for the US team to internal and external events. Ensure the office space is supplied with everything needed for day‑to‑day operations. Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in event coordination or sales support, preferably in the software or tech industry. Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute marketing and event activities with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both internal teams and external partners. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured way. Proficient in tools such as project management platforms (e.g., Airtable) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides). Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership. Nice to Have
Experience with partner marketing or channel programs. Familiarity with event technology and lead capture solutions. Exposure to international collaboration within a global organization. A network of proven suppliers in the event industry. Details
