MPR Facility Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Duties
Establishes a preventative maintenance routine for Maryville Community Center, Sunrise Bark Park pet wash station and Thomson Splash ‘N’ Play
Operates and maintains HVAC system, including monitoring temperature throughout the Community Center
Performs maintenance repairs on aquatic pumps, motors, filters, water features while maintaining/servicing dog wash station
Performs multiple daily checks at Thomson Splash ‘N’ Play and dog wash station during operation
Performs minor plumbing, electrical repairs and carpentry work
Performs repairs as needed on cardio and weight equipment
Paints doors, trim, and walls throughout the facilities
Replacing ceiling tiles and light bulbs
Maintains inventory of all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and properly labeling all chemicals
Performs and oversees all annual Safety Inspections required (City, elevator, fire sprinkler, etc.)
Maintains inventory of janitorial and cleaning supplies as needed
Orders, purchases, receives and stores janitorial supplies for facilities and parks
Snow removal and salt of sidewalks at Community Center during snow events
All other duties assigned
Custodial Duties
Cleans and sanitizes all restrooms, locker rooms, drinking fountains, handrails, etc.
Vacuum carpets, dust mop floors, damp mop floors
Dusts all furniture, equipment, counters, etc.
Cleans all glass, windows, doors and mirrors
Empties trash receptacles and disposes into dumpstersCleans all meeting rooms, gym and arranges tables and chairs
Operates hand and power equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, etc.
Strips, waxes and buffs all tile floors and gym floor as necessary
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for completion of new and different requests.
Performs other duties as assigned for the effective operation of MPR facilities
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS
Is responsible for supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include coaching, training employees; directing work; may address complaints and resolve problems. Provides Director and Assistant Director with recommendations on hiring, rewarding, discipline, and terminations.

Ability to carry out duties reliably and predictably with minimal supervision
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma preferred
Valid Missouri Drivers required
CRP & First Aid Certification
Experience with sealing and waxing floors is preferred

The level of work is medium and involves – cleaning, general maintenance, shoveling snow, and some computer work involved. Duties are generally performed in a controlled environment indoors.
The work schedule is generally 40 hours per week on weekdays, with the ability to work additional hours and some weekends as required.
