Learning Programs Specialist – Fargo, ND We are hiring a Learning Programs Specialist for our Fargo, ND office. This role is responsible for facilitating training and learning programs, including Professional Development Opportunities and Leadership Assessments. The Specialist will collaborate with the Learning & Leadership Development team and other business partners within MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) to address organizational and project‑specific training needs.

Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings on orientation, professional development, and team building on a regular basis (daily to weekly).

Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to develop orientation and training materials, job aids, learning maps, and other dynamic, interactive solutions.

Evaluate program effectiveness using learning outcomes and employee satisfaction assessments; use data to continuously improve and enhance programs.

Coordinate program and session logistics with the Learning & Leadership Development team—materials, room setup, food and beverage, etc.

Maintain records and data for all training sessions and programs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, adult learning, communications, business, or a related field, or an Associate’s degree with 3 years of training experience.

Experience facilitating, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating technical and non‑technical training courses, orientation, functional and soft skills training.

Certification in Personality/Leadership Assessments preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Commit to maintaining a safe work environment and adhere to Zero Injury principles.

Proficient with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet; ability to learn additional systems.

Work independently with a high level of confidentiality.

Strong public speaking and facilitation skills.

Adapt to a variety of training audiences.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Travel 10–20 % when required.

Working Environment

Worksite visits may involve exposure to hazards or physical risks; basic safety precautions must be followed.

Environments may include extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, or loud noises.
