Summary The Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.
Responsibilities of the Senior Field Service Technician
Remove and Replace Pumps and Motors
Laser Alignment of Pumps and Motors
Vibration analysis preferred
Start-ups & troubleshooting
Mechanical Seal Changes
API and ANSI Pumps
Centrifugal and Plunger Pumps
Must be proficient with precision measuring instruments
Knowledge of dynamic and field balancing
Qualifications of the Senior Field Service Technician
Must possess a minimum of 10 years experience working in the field in pump rebuilding
Must be flexible, and willing to work both in the field, as well as in a shop environment
Must possess extensive knowledge of rebuilding centrifugal pumping equipment
Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
Additional Information
Physical Demand : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions : Working in potential weather situations, rain / snow
Training / Certifications : Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferred, but not mandatory.
Shift Time / Overtime : First Shift with Overtime as required
Travel : Most job sites are about an hour drive from Denver. Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
Education : High School Diploma or GED
