Dental Hygienist – Premier Dentistry of Wake Forest

Heartland Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Premier Dentistry of Wake Forest. The position offers a Monday‑Wednesday 7‑5 pm schedule in a supportive, patient‑centered environment. Overview

As a Clinical Hygienist, you will provide exceptional patient care, manage hygiene procedures, and support the practice’s educational mission. Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, oral health education, and periodontal maintenance. Screen patients, take and interpret dental records, and document medical histories. Collaborate with dentists and staff to develop treatment plans. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all hygiene instruments and equipment. Support clinic operations through accurate charting and compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols. Qualifications

Current North Carolina dental hygienist license. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (required). Proficient in dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic health records is preferred. Preferred Experience

Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods. Capacity to lift up to 45 pounds. Availability for periodic virtual or in‑person training sessions. TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions. Benefits
