Job Title:
Tutor/Nanny Immediate Supervisor: Romain Thievin FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Family looking to hire a Tutor/Nanny for their 9‑year‑old son. The Tutor/Nanny will assist with tutoring, meal preparation, light cleaning after meals, and transportation to after‑school activities. The ideal candidate is a non‑smoker, has reliable transportation, and has a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Essential Job Functions
Assist with tutoring for current school curriculum.
Develop additional learning programs appropriate for a 4th‑grade student using worksheets or other media.
Prepare meals for the child and perform cleaning after meals.
Transport the child to and from school and after‑school activities as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Abilities
Read and understand information presented in writing.
Listen and understand information presented in spoken words and sentences.
Communicate information and ideas orally so others understand.
Communicate information and ideas in writing so others understand.
Schedule Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, every other week (approximately 20 hours).
