Position Overview We are seeking an experienced

Apparel Wholesale Sales Representative

to drive revenue growth through established and new relationships with

big-box, off-price, and national retail chains . This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in

clothing and apparel wholesale , a deep understanding of retail buying cycles, and direct relationships with key apparel buyers and category managers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and expand wholesale apparel accounts with big-box and national retail chains

Leverage existing relationships with apparel buyers, category managers, and retail decision-makers to secure new wholesale programs

Identify new sales opportunities and manage the full wholesale sales cycle from line presentation to close

Collaborate internally on product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional programs

Negotiate pricing, margins, and terms specific to apparel wholesale agreements

Monitor apparel market trends, seasonal demand, and competitive activity

Consistently meet or exceed wholesale sales and revenue targets

Represent the company at buyer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Required Qualifications

5+ years of wholesale sales experience in apparel or clothing

Proven success selling apparel to big-box and off-price retailers

(e.g., TJX, Ross, Ollie’s, Burlington, Costco, Five Below, or similar national chains)

Established relationships with

apparel buyers and retail decision-makers

Strong understanding of apparel retail calendars, compliance standards, and vendor requirements

Demonstrated negotiation, account management, and closing skills in wholesale environments

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities

Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently or in‑house
