Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,420 per week
TNAA TotalMed Allied is looking for a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hazel Crest, IL. The assignment is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts, and requires 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.
Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Monitor patients during all procedures.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques on patient and operator exposure.
Maintain accurate patient records and use the McKesson PACS system.
Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps.
Qualifications
1 year of recent acute care experience.
BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) National Certification and state‑specific licensing when required.
Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
