Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position caring for adult and geriatric patients, requiring valid MO or compact licensure and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
Responsibilities
Position is in a hospital Med/Surg unit
Adult and geriatric patient population
Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
Floating to other units is required
Requires working assigned weekends and at least 50% of holidays on contract
EMR used is Cerner; experience preferred but not required
13-week assignment
Duties include providing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
Must be willing to float to other units as needed
First time travelers will be considered
RTO must be reported during the submission process for approval
Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
Requirements
Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience and at least 1 year in Med/Surg
Ability to work the duration and hours of the assigned shift
