Responsibilities
Evaluate patient condition and recommend treatment plans
Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
Timely and accurate documentation
Promote continuous quality improvement
Teach and counsel patients and families
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
Preferred certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
At least 2 years of experience
