Responsibilities
Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Management in a dynamic outpatient setting in Bronx, NY.
This full-time position involves working closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans for patients.
The role requires a strong understanding of pain disorders and the ability to evaluate and treat patients effectively.
Requirements
Provide care for patients with chronic or acute pain.
Collaborate with doctors and nurses to create treatment plans.
Develop comprehensive pain management strategies.
Utilize therapeutic methods for pain relief.
Educate patients and families on pain alleviation techniques.
Act as a liaison to assess medication effects and adjust treatments.
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
In-depth knowledge of pain disorders.
Ability to evaluate complex pain disorders.
Proficiency in prescribing pain medications.
Experience with diagnostic tests for identifying pain causes.
Preferred skill in administering basic injections.
Ability to align treatment with patient preferences and beliefs.
