Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units/ 36 beds. Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis. Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units
BMT Acute Leukemia Hematology Medical Oncology PCU Oncology Gynecological Oncology Urology Colorectal Surgical Oncology Corrections Healthcare Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls Certifications required
ACLS BLS NIHSS Staffing ratios - PCU is 1:3, can be 1:4 w/ mixed acuity, M/S Tele ideally 1:4 but can be 1:5 Weekends - variable based on unit needs No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Five shifts of bedside orientation b/t weeks 2 and 3, then independent HonorVet Technologies Job ID #31276111.
