Job Description We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to maintain a welcoming reception area, greet and assist clients and patients, triage concerns, answer phone and e‑mail inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage check‑in/check‑out and payments. The role requires emotional support during times of need and the ability to work in an environment with unpleasant odors, noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste or contagious diseases.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, inviting reception environment.

Greet and welcome clients and patients.

Triage client concerns and provide initial guidance.

Answer phone calls and e‑mail inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff member.

Schedule appointments to maximize clinic efficiency and daily flow.

Check in and check out clients, process payments, and maintain accurate records.

Offer compassionate support and discretion during times of medical concern.

Qualifications

Veterinary receptionist experience preferred, minimum 1 year.

Compassionate, calm, team‑player, strong communication skills.

Highly organized with proficient computer skills.

Self‑starter eager to advance knowledge and skill set.

Pay Range $20 /hr + based on experience.
