Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville Beach, FL. As a Litigation Assistant, you will support attorneys by preparing legal documents, managing case files, and coordinating schedules. Daily tasks include organizing and maintaining case records, conducting legal research, communicating with clients and opposing parties, and ensuring court deadlines and filing requirements are met. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the firm, contributing to effective case management and successful litigation outcomes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in document preparation, organization, and management of case files
Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and understanding of legal terminology
Highly organized with excellent ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and priorities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, attorneys, and external parties
Meticulous attention to detail and experience in proofreading legal documents
Proficient in using legal software tools, document management systems, and basic office applications
Paralegal certificate, associate degree in legal studies, or relevant work experience is preferred
Knowledge or experience in consumer protection law and litigation is a plus
