Summary:
The purpose of this position is to maintain accuracy of student files. Responsible for providing front‑end customer services to students regarding registration, schedule changes, transcript requests, and the graduation process. This position is cross‑trained to provide general customer service to students at the cashier and reception windows as needed.
Job Duties
Work closely with the Student Records Specialist at ECC to ensure the smooth transition of student files.
Manage requests for student records and provide timely customer service to other college departments.
Alphabetically file or scan current documents; purge and scan archive/back‑files as needed.
Prepare mailings and commencement materials; shred as needed.
Abilities:
Computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc), Microsoft Outlook email, and ability to learn new software. Able to work independently in a team‑oriented environment. Requires high attention to detail and confidentiality. Must maintain college GPA meeting or exceeding IVCCD Standards of Academic Progress.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
