Qualifications & Details
Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Caring and compassionate demeanor
Leadership and mentorship skills
Ability to work the scheduled shift (Day shift: 6 a.m.–6 p.m., flexible days)
Proficient reading, writing & speaking in English
Responsibilities
Enhance the clinical care and quality of life for residents, ensuring all rights are protected.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
Check residents daily to ensure proper administration of treatments and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
Keep RN Supervisor informed about resident status, staff and related matters.
Implement recommended changes as directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, colostomy management, and specimen collection.
Complete required record‑keeping forms/charts for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Give and receive nursing reports during shift changes.
Investigate complaints and grievances, reporting findings orally or in writing.
Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
Adhere to policies and standards.
