Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed RN is looking for a Travel Nurse RN – Med Surg with pay of $1,652 per week in Murfreesboro, TN. This travel nursing position begins 12/15/2025 and lasts 13 weeks, requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is Travel.
Responsibilities As a Medical Surgical Travel Nurse, you will conduct patient assessments, perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments, document findings, and provide education and support to patients’ families. You will:
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative patients.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examinations and treatments.
Educate patients on surgical procedures.
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by the physician.
Requirements • 1‑2 years recent acute care experience • BLS certification, NIH, 1 year • Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
