Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct resident activity programs, including diversified programming for various cognitive levels (e.g., Wii competitions, bingo, coffee carts).
Assist in planning and promoting recreation based on individualized needs and encourage participation and engagement.
Visit bed‑bound residents and non‑participants and provide appropriate recreation services.
Assist with the daily radio program, monthly newsletter, and recreation calendar.
Assist with volunteer program set‑up, admission assessments, clinical responsibilities, and community interaction programs.
Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes each individual’s needs and rights.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the center.
Full command of the English language.
Excellent multi‑tasking and communication skills.
Positive attitude and ability to interact well with residents, staff, and the public.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
