Overview
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab equipment and maintenance and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing such procedures. Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications Education
Graduate of a RCIS program (Required)
Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
Graduate of a program in respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology (Required)
Work Experience
No experience required.
Licenses and Certifications
RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (if a graduate of RCIS program, must be obtained within 24 months of hire) (Required)
Applicable license based on healthcare experience (see above) (Required upon hire)
BCLS – Basic Life Support (Required upon hire)
ACLS (Required upon hire)
