About the Hospital Spring Valley Hospital is a 366‑bed facility located in southwest Las Vegas that offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, surgical services, women’s health and maternity services, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has achieved advanced certifications in Primary Heart Attack, Thrombectomy‑Capable Stroke, and Hip and Knee Total Joint Replacement. It has been recognized by US News & World Report for its programs in Heart Failure, Heart Attack, Kidney Failure, COPD, and Stroke. The Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center is a Center of Excellence and a President’s Circle award‑winning clinic.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Follow the concepts of Patient Centered Care to guide all nursing care.
Oversee and guide employees under supervision.
Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Experience:
One year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
License/Certification:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
Other:
Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
