American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac and IR experience for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab
Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No call requirement for this assignment
Patient population includes those requiring cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
Epic EMR experience required
Potential to float to an affiliated hospital nearby as needed
Duties include monitoring and scrubbing for all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab
Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, cardiovascular technologists, and nurses to ensure efficient workflow and a patient-friendly environment
First-time travelers will be considered
Return staff must have been gone for at least 6 months to be eligible as a traveler
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mile radius restriction
Request for time off must be included at time of application and may not exceed two weeks
Scrub attire is required in accordance with hospital policy
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology
Current ARRT credential, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
Active OR license required if applicable
OMBI license must be obtained prior to start
Experience with Epic charting system is required
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions are not accepted
Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration
