Role This position manages the design and construction of new or expanded facilities. It reviews codes, calculations, drawings, specifications, constructability and material selections to support assigned work. The role performs contractor management, troubleshoots design or construction conflicts, provides technical solutions, conducts project‑specific safety assessments/audits, quality control and quality inspection to design standards, prepares startup and commissioning documents, and provides on‑site resolution of engineering problems. It investigates problems incurred during testing and operations, resolves issues, directs re‑tests, and coordinates multiple construction projects with stakeholders, customers, maintenance and operations personnel. The position prepares project cost estimates and works with third parties to develop studies prior to design.

The role supports facilities in the technical services, project management, or crane engineering team. Candidates should have an applicable degree and at least three years of experience in an industrial environment, managing electrical, mechanical and structural work/systems associated with utility infrastructure and building projects.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program

Bachelor’s Degree; 0 years of relevant exempt experience

Relevant bachelor degrees may be used in lieu of an ABET Engineering Degree: Construction Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related construction degree

Nice to Have Experience in crane engineering or advanced project management within a large industrial construction environment is advantageous.
