Role Overview This position manages the design and construction of new or expanded facilities. The role reviews codes, calculations, drawings, specifications, constructability and material selection/substitutions to support assigned work. Responsibilities include performing contractor management, troubleshooting design or construction conflicts, providing technical solutions, performing project‑specific safety assessments/audits, quality control and quality inspection to design standards, and preparing startup and commissioning documents including checklists, operating procedures, and training for all assigned work. The Engineer conducts construction surveillance to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, provides on‑site resolution of engineering problems during construction, investigates problems incurred during testing and operations, resolves problems, and directs re‑testing to ensure satisfactory system performance. The position also requires close coordination and management of multiple construction projects with multiple stakeholders, customers, maintenance and operations personnel. It prepares project cost estimates, works with third parties to develop studies prior to design, and supports facilities within technical services, project management, or crane engineering teams. The candidate shall have an applicable degree and three years of experience in an industrial environment. The role manages electrical, mechanical and structural work/systems associated with utility infrastructure, building and other industrial construction projects, and oversees the construction of new or expanded facilities.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or a relevant Construction Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related Construction degree.
