Overview
Danfoss is searching for an Account Manager to join its Agriculture and Turf Care Account team, responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and advocating client needs within the organization regarding commercial and market demands.
As a self‑driven professional, you will lead efforts to achieve profitable sales targets and market expansion aligned with the organization’s strategic growth plans for your portfolio. You will manage customer relationships, coordinate and execute sales activities, and partner closely with Danfoss business units.
This remote role is open to candidates based in the United States, preferably in Minnesota or Iowa. Relocation is not being considered. The salary range is $100,000–$120,000, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Achieve sales growth in assigned product area, market, region, or channel.
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and expand share of wallet.
Develop sales plans to introduce products into new markets, coordinating closely with internal sales, support, and service teams.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across existing accounts.
Manage customer relations to increase sales and satisfaction.
Apply Danfoss selling and pricing methodology, practices, and protocols.
Participate in sales meetings and trade shows as required.
Upsell and cross‑sell Danfoss product offerings to existing customers, pursuing new sales opportunities.
Travel domestically 10–20% of the time.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience in hydraulics.
3–5 years experience in technical sales and knowledge of the designated product and industry sector.
Self‑motivated, determined, and able to succeed under pressure.
Excellent presentation skills at all levels with B2B and internal colleagues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work across cultures with diverse nationalities in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
IFPS certifications.
