Description of Work:

The Dining Associate performs tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center.

As a

Dining Associate

you will:

Set up and close stations.

Read recipes, prepare ingredients, and execute recipes.

Re-stock stations.

Assist with inventory.

Assist with cleaning and dish machine operation.

Assist with the monitoring of cost and waste control.

Ensure that food presentation and monitoring food quality (temperature, taste, and appearance) meet dining standards.

Assist with training of student staff.

Provide excellent customer service.

Operate the computer for some training, email, ESS, and other related tasks.

Minimum Required Qualifications High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered. Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Flexibility, ability to communicate and being a team player essential. Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
